The Restigouche County SPCA was established in 1985 and has been registered with the Canada Revenue Agency as a charitable organization since January 1, 1986.
The mission of the Restigouche County SPCA is (mainly) focused on educating and promoting the concept of 'responsible pet ownership for the life of your pet’, which includes:

to provide shelter for unwanted, injured, abused and neglected animals,

to temporarily shelter & reunite lost animals with their owners and
-
to promote spaying/neutering to prevent more unwanted litters ending up in our shelter.
With humane animal protection laws, we endeavor to shelter &
re-home animals are often suffering from hunger, thirst, pain, distress or discomfort.
